Recipe: Choco-Coco Modak

Ingredients For cover:

  • 1 cup Chocolate chips
  • 1 cup condensed Milk
  • 3 cups desiccated Coconut
  • 8-10 Walnuts (finely chopped)
  • Silver Warq as required (cut into half inch squares)

How to make Choco-Coco Modak:

  1. In a big bowl, take chocolate chips, desiccated coconut, condensed milk and walnuts and mix well.
  2. as mentioned above, this process of roasting take approx 25 to 30 minutes on a low flame. you can see in the pic the color and texture of the pearls. cool the pearls completely and then grind to a fine powder in a dry grinder.
  3. Divide into little portions and press them in modak mould.
  4. Wrap the modaks with silver warq and refrigerate till set.
  5. Your choco-coco modaks are ready to eaten.
