Araku Valley - Araku Valley, 115-km from Vishakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh is close to the Orissa State, border. This valley attracts people with pleasant weather, hills and valleys.

Ananthagiri Temple- Also known as Sri Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple, it is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the protector. One of the best examples of religious harmony in India, the temple is built by Nawab of Hyderabad some 400 years ago.

Coffee Plantation - Tall standing trees supporting the pepper vines and shading the coffee shrubs loaded with berries are something some tourists might never have got a chance to look at.

Borra Caves - Borra is an agency village lying in the Ananthagiri hills in the southeast corner of Srungavarapukota Taluk at a distance of about 43-km from Srungavarapukota.

Visakha Utsav - Visakha Utsav is organised by A.P. Tourism every year from the third Friday to Sunday of January i.e. for three days in Vishakhapatnam. It's the festival special for 'Vizagites', in the cold month of January.

Simhachalam - About 16 kms from Vishakhapatnam is Simhachalam, famous for the temple of Sri Varaha Lakshminarasimha. Architecturally this ancient temple deserves high praise.

RamaKrishna Beach & Lawson`s Bay - One of the loveliest beaches on the East Coast, the Ramakrishna beach is a favourite resort for tourists visiting Vishakhapatnam.

CLIMATE

The place is more commonly opted for a weekend getaway being only around 100 Km away from Vishakhapatnam, the primary reason being a great weather at around 18 degree of centigrade maintained throughout the year. No specific climate of year given preference over the other.

HOW TO REACH THERE

Air: Nearest Airport is Vizag (also known as Vishakhapatnam) connected with cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, etc. from where a cab can be hired to cover rest of the 100 Km to Anantgiri.

Rail: Rail journey takes through the scintillating Eastern Ghats, one of the world’s highest broad gauge tracks, which is from Srikakulam to Anantgiri.

Road: APSRTC, State transport services are available. One can find buses running from Vishakhapatnam daily.
