Haflong Hill - Haflong hill is one of the major attractions of Haflong town. It is popular for trekking and hiking.
Haflong Lake - Situated at the heart of the hill station, Haflong is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Haflong. The lake provides a majestic view of the Himalayas and offers an opportunity to engage in boating.
Jatinga Bird - Jatinga Bird Watching centre is another beautiful destination especially in the months of November – February. It is an idyllic place for bird lovers to stay away from hustle and bustle of hectic city life.
Maibong - Maibong was the ancient capital of the Dimasa Kachari Kingdom, which existed from mid-sixteenth to mid-eighteenth century. The place is located at a distance of about 45 km from Haflong and retains the ruins of the kingdom even today. It also boasts of 12th century monolithic Ramchandi Temple of Kachari Kings. The Mahur River also flows by Maibong, which offers a great tourist attraction.
Umrangsu - 115 kms away from Haflong by road, the biggest hydelplant under North East Electric Power Corporation (NEEPCO) has come upwith dams across the river Kopili, a tributery of the Brahmaputra. Near Umrangsu, there is a hot water spring (Garampani) which isbelieved to possess medicinal properties.
Dimapur - Dimapur is positioned in the western part of Nagaland state. The Dimapur periphery is formed by Dhansiri River on one side while the other side of the area has woody meadows and hills.
