Dudhsagar Waterfalls

Dudhsagar Waterfall in Goa is amongst the top 100 highest waterfalls in the world. Waterfalls in Goa are an added attraction to entertain and pull the crowd apart from its sunny beaches, dazzling discos and swaying palms. This cascading dudhsagar waterfall takes a steep plunge of 2000 feet down in the wooded mountains of the Western Ghats. It is also believed to be one of the highest falls in the country. The Dudhsagar falls in Goa (the ocean of mik as it is often called) is one spectacular sight that you will not want to miss if you are in a vacation to Goa.

The waterfalls are located in boundary of Goa and Karnataka and streets resulting in are managed by Goa Forest Division, and got shut in rain. The streets are again started out from month of Oct. At its platform, there is small pond. One can shower and in its own risk. There are fish in river and water is also very cold, even during the noon time.

Best Time to Visit Dudhsagar Waterfalls

The most enjoyable climate is during the months of Nov and Feb. April to May are usually heated and irritatingly moist.

How to Reach there

By Air: The nearest airport is the Gandhinagar Airport.

By Rail: The nearest railway station is Kulem Nashik Road.

By Road: The Water Fall can be reached by road , from Collem which is off National Highway (NH-4A). All Interstate Busses halt at Mollem where the Park office is located.
