Expected Price of Maruti New Ertiga
Rs 6.10 L - 9.00 L
Maruti Suzuki is looking to refresh its Ertiga MPV in order to give it a mid-cycle update in the form of a face-lift. Going by Maruti’s latest design norm, the refreshed Ertiga too will get an overdose of chrome on its new front grille that is now longer and stretches all the way between the head lamps.
While the head lamps and bonnet remain the same, there is a new front bumper with a sleeker airdam and new fog lamp housings with matt silver plastic inserts around the top section of the housing. The side profile of the face-lifted Maruti Ertiga will remain identical to that of the current model apart from new wheel covers and alloy wheels on the top-end variants.
On the inside, the Eritga is well equipped with an infotainment system that offers a USB, AUX and Bluetooth connectivity. The black and beige interior also gets other added benefits like rear parking sensors and steering mounted audio and phone controls.
Designed to reduce driving fatigue, protect the steering from weather changes and extreme temperatures. Maruti is expected to fit its new SmartPlay system from the top-end Ciaz. The system will feature Bluetooth connectivity for multiple phones, USB, AUX, satellite navigation, a 7 inch touchscreen display and more.
The Eritga is also quite spacious but isn’t a real seven seater. Although the middle row offers decent space to sit, the last row does not and is quite cramped for fully-grown men. The rear seats do get rear AC vents with their own HVAC controls, which is a positive. The top of the line Ertiga also gets leather seats.
Premium Seat Covers and Cushion Pillows: Elegantly designed and perfectly finished, now you can travel in the lap of luxury every day. Little will change around the back of the new Ertiga as well, apart from a thick slab of chrome used to garnish the top of the license plate holder. Apart from this, the rear windscreen, tail lamps, tail gate and bumper all remain the same in the face-lifted Eritga.
Speaking about technical specifications, the Eritga gets a petrol and diesel engine. The petrol is a 1.4-litre four cylinder motor that offers 95PS of peak power and mileage of 16.02kmpl. The same 1.4-litre motor in CNG guise however gives 83PS of peak power and mileage of 22.8kmpl. The diesel is a 1.3-litre engine that has a turbocharger and four cylinders. The engine returns mileage of 20.77kmpl and offers 85PS of peak power. The Ertiga goes up against the likes of the Honda Mobilio and the Renault Lodgy.
Expect prices of the new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga to range between Rs. 6.10 lakh to Rs. 9 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
