Hyundai has commenced bookings for the 2020 Creta ahead of its launch of March 17. The Creta will be offered in five variants: E, EX, S, SX and SX(O). It’ll be offered with three engine options and four transmission choices. The engine options are similar to the Kia Seltos, which means the Hyundai SUV will come with a 1.5-litre diesel, 1.5-litre petrol and 1.4-litre turbo-petrol. All three engines come with different automatic transmissions. Prices for the 2020 Creta are expected to start above the current model (Rs 10 lakh, ex-showroom). The Creta will rival the Kia Seltos, MG Hector and Tata Harrier 2020.

In line with Hyundai’s new design language, expect the 2020 Creta to get a larger grille and split headlamps up front – just like the ix25 concept. Along the sides, it will retain the squared-off wheel arches but will get a new set of alloy wheels. Expect the new Creta to come loaded with features like a projector headlamp, panoramic sun roof, cruise control, and Hyundai’s Blue Link technology that we have already seen on the Venue.
