Where should an NRI invest for his retirement?
If you have any mutual fund queries, message on ET Mutual Funds on Facebook. We will get it answered by our panel of experts.
I am an NRI, and would like to invest in mutual funds. I am 39 years old, married and have a two- months-old baby girl. My risk profile is high. I would like to save for my child’s education when she turns 18 and higher education at 24 years. I also want to save for my retirement and my spouse’s retirement too. My investment horizon is more than 20 years. Please suggest four mutual fund schemes where I may invest. I plan to invest Rs 20,000 per month.

You may invest in the following four schemes with high risk-reward ratio:
Axis Midcap Fund
HDFC Small Cap Fund
IDFC Sterling Value Fund
Edelweiss Midcap Fund
Please note that many mutual fund houses do not accept money from NRI from the USA or Canada.
