Dia Mirza Weds Sahil Sangha

Actress and former Miss Asia Pacific, Dia Mirza, tied the knot with her long time beau Sahil Sangha on 18th October 2014 at New Delhi followed by reception at a private farmhouse in Ghitorni. The intimate three day celebration was graced by the couple’s close friends, family and relatives.

The Mehndi ceremony was held on 16th October 2014. Dia looked stunning in a custom made Ritu Kumar Anarkali yellow suit made of chanderi fabric followed by Sangeet ceremony on 17th October 2014 at a farm house in Chattarpur, New Delhi where Dia Mirza wore an Anita Dongre lehenga while Sahil wore black bandhgala and white churidaar. The actress also tweeted their first picture from Mehndi night with the message “With my happiness :) thank you to all those who have conveyed such warm messages here. Sahil and I are grateful.”

Dia’s Wedding was planned by Mumbai based Natasha Katgara Gocal and Erina DeAbreu of Divinity Weddings who are also known to have planned Vidya Balan's wedding. For her wedding Dia wore a beige and green Ritu Kumar sharara and switched to a Shantanu & Nikhil peach coloured lehenga for the reception. Sahil wore a cream silk achkan and emerald green kurta by Raghuvendra Rathore

The newly wed couple will also have a grand reception in Mumbai where their friends from film industry and relatives will be present. The couple is said to be planning a romantic getaway at the end of the year.
