Hera Pheri: Starring Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Sunil Shetty and Tabu, Priyadarshan’s ‘Hera Pheri’ has acquired a cult status and topped our poll with 684 votes. Though all actors performed brilliantly, much acclaim went to Paresh Rawal for his brilliant comic timing.
2. Andaz Apna Apna
Andaz Apna Apna: Coming in a close second with no surprise was all-time favourite ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ starring with 669 votes. Though the film didn’t fare well at the Box Office, it has slowly and surely made its way to the top of the Bollywood comedies due to its mad-comedy-drama and confusion.
3. Chennai Express
Rohit Shetty's laugh-riot about the story of a middle aged man who falls in love with the daughter of a south Indian don he runs into during a train ride got 242 votes. Starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, the film was a huge blockbuster.
4. Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro
Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro: Coming in fourth with 144 votes is black comedy ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro’ with a stellar cast of Naseeruddin Shah, Ravi Baswani, Om Puri, Pankaj Kapur, Satish Shah Bhakti Barve and Satish Kaushik.
5. Gol Maal
Gol Maal: Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s ‘Gol Maal’ also made it to the top five with 132 votes. The comedy drama, which was a complex, love story involving the Indian middle class gained popularity status.

Padosan: Coming in next was Jyoti Swaroop’s ‘Padosan’ with Saira Banu and Sunil Dutt who play neighbours that fall in love with each other. The film was a huge hit that was later remade into Telugu and Tamil and received 123 votes. Kishore Kumar and Mehmood's famous song 'Ek chatur naar' is a hit till date.
7. 3 Idiots
3 Idiots: Rajkumar Hirani’s hilarious masterpiece ‘3 Idiots’ with Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi and R Madhavan also secured a place in our top 10 with 117 votes. The film that told the tale of three engineering students broke all opening box office records in India and was the highest-grossing film in its opening weekend.

Chupke Chupke: In 8th place is Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s ‘Chupke Chupke’ starring Dharmendra, Sharmila Tagore, Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan and Om Prakash with 84 votes.

Welcome: Anees Bazmee's 'Welcome' starring Akshay Kumar, Nata Patekar, Anil Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Mallika Sherawat and Paresh Rawal is one of the most loved comedy films and came in 9th with 61 votes. The film revolved around a don’s search for the perfect suitor for his sister.
10. Angoor
Angoor: And finally at No 10 with 57 votes is 'Angoor' which revolved around the tale of two pairs of identical twins played by Sanjeev Kumar, who are separated at birth and reunited later in life.
