The cooking platform in the kitchen should never touch the northern or the eastern wall.
While cooking, the cook should face the eastern side of the kitchen.

The stove in the kitchen should not be visible from outside. If it is visible from outside, the members of the family may encounter indigestion problems. Therefore, it should be kept at a place from where it cannot be seen.
